Advanced Ideas Ltd will try to pay the full delivery cost for customers, but for delivery of some items and to some destinations an extra charge is necessary.

- Free standard delivery is available to UK mainland, except certain Highland postcodes and London City Centre, that will incur an additional charge.

- We use Palletways for the delivery of heavy goods such as stoves. Palletways do not deliver to Northern Ireland, Highland Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight (Please note that smaller goods may be dispatched to these locations VIA Royal mail). For any London City Centre deliveries, a subsided charge of £6 will be made for congestion charge payments. Palletways also apply surcharge rates of up to £40 for specific Postal Codes, these charges will be automatically applied at payment, but we urge all customers to contact us for confirmation and for any queries that you may have.

Palletways deliveries will be made by a single driver vehicle with a tail lift, who will deliver to the roadside of the address and may be able to move the pallet with a pump truck – of course gravel driveways, steps and steep inclines are not suitable. As the driver is not allowed to be out of line of sight of the vehicle for insurance purposes, we strongly recommend that if you cannot move the goods yourself, that you arrange for another person to be present at delivery.

-  The Palletways driver only has a 20 minute window for each delivery and if you are not present for the pickup of the delivery, the driver will contact his depot to inform them and attempt to contact you, but the driver can only wait 20 minutes. If a re-delivery has to be arranged, then a further charge will incur, and of course the charge varies depending on the Zone of delivery. The driver cannot leave a delivery unattended and unsigned without the depot receiving written permission beforehand.

- When you sign for a Palletways delivery you are signing for a sealed pallet. We strongly recommend that you check that the pallet is sealed and in good condition. In the event that the delivered product is damaged, please mark this clearly on the delivery note and contact us in the next 24 hours, quoting your Order Reference and Delivery Note, we will then come to an agreement and ensure that a replacement is sent out immediately.

- Please note that our standard delivery is kerb side only. The drive will do his best to get the pallet as close to your front door as possible. The driver is not insured to take your goods inside your house. Please call us prior to ordering should you require a two man delivery with goods delivered to the room of your choice.

- We must advise you to check the goods while the driver is still present. The driver is obliged to wait with you for up to 20 minutes, whilst you unpack the goods (for palletised goods only).

- If you are unavailable for the pre-booked delivery time of your goods then specific instructions will be left behind by the courier so that you may pick them up or arrange re-delivery at a more convenient time with a surcharge depending on the Zone of delivery.

- If the driver refuses to wait with you for up to 20 minutes please mark the goods as damaged on the delivery note, so that you are covered for any eventualities that could occur (Pallet deliveries only).

- Cheque payments must be cleared before we can release goods from stock.

- Standard delivery has an estimated delivery time of 5 working days, but may take longer for certain Post Codes.

- If you cancel an order once it has already been dispatched, we regret that you will charged for the return delivery costs, even if the goods have not reached you.

- Our standard couriers for basic goods are Royal Mail (24 and 48 hour services) and Interlink.

- Advanced Ideas Ltd and our couriers will not be held liable for any delays in delivery of your order if the consignment does not have a full address, postal code and telephone number

Palletways do not deliver pallets to Northern Ireland, Highland Island of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight.

We always strive to supply goods to our customers in optimal condition. Some of our products can be both heavy and fragile, requiring careful handling until installed. We will replace (for free) any item found defective or damaged before delivery. This is of course – In addition to the manufacturers guarantee. We cannot accept the return of products that are damaged after delivery, as the goods are now your responsibility after they have been delivered. If you wish to return part or all of your order please email returns@galleonfires.co.uk , ensuring that you quote your Order Number and the date that you received your goods. You must be able to confirm that the goods are in the original packaging and that they are unused in anyway and that we will be able to inspect the goods before signing for them. Failure to do this will result in no return address or number being provided. Items returned to us must be sent by recorded delivery

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
